In January 31, 2018. after 22 years, the legendary Odeon videotheque in Corvin Cinema was closed for good. With that, the last arthouse videotheque in the Eight district of Budapest disappeared. This gave the impetus to a number of ex-workers and a number of film lovers to commemorate not just the Odeon theque(s), but the golden era of VHS.
