Plot

This documentary film tells the story of the lendendary Broken Spoke, a dancehall located in Austin, Texas. Owners James and Anetta White have kept the Texas dance tradition alive for 50 years despite major changes taking place all around them. Seen through the eyes of the White family, musicians who perform there, and dance hall patrons, the film documents the day to day struggle to keep the Spoke alive.
