Plot
A fantasy retelling of the South Tyrolean legend of "King Laurin and his rose garden". Theo, the son of King Dietrich, trains for an upcoming tournament, but lacks the strength and size. Meanwhile his cousin Wittich is raising money to pay a horde of mercenaries and attack the castle of his uncle Dietrich. By a most fortunate chance, Theo befriends the used-to-be King Laurin, a dwarf who was exiled from the kingdom by King Dietrich himself, and who now lives in a cave hidden in the mountains, tending to his plants. With Laurin's magical artifacts and knowledge Theo might be able to win the tournament and save his father's kingdom.
