Documentary, History, Sport

An underground urban fitness movement risks losing its identity as a social tool as it becomes the fastest growing new sport. Born on the streets of NYC, cultures clash between the old school and the young blood as the movement transitions from city parks to stadiums all over the world.

Plot

An underground urban fitness movement risks losing its identity as a social tool, as it rapidly becomes an international sport. A group of individuals started a community building program using exercise in the parks and playground of New York City, which caught the eye of youth all over the world through the advent and use of social media. The subsequent global explosion created organizations, leagues, and hundreds of teams performing this urban freestyle form of gymnastics as a sport. The international community is arguably the strongest of any culture, because the lifestyle is so inclusive of any demographic, but the originators of the movement denounce what it has become, and are now the only thing in the way of its complete maturation.
