Plot
While lighthearted Lucy records a women's rugby tournament for a sick teammate, reserved Kader documents life and love as a wedding videographer. When their stories collide in a public park, the two films combine into a new and unexpected story. As Kader explores his past, Lucy captures the joyful energy of her teammates. Moving from one tape to the other, the film captures the commonalities and contrasts between Lucy and Kader's perspectives. Using a handheld camera style, the film gives viewers a naturalistic glimpse into two stories combined by a twist of fate. Humorous, unique and romantic, The Double Switch explores love as the product of art and chance.
