The Inspector of Schools has already exhausted all the conventional means to raise standards at the school and he has no choice but to take the advice of his deputy. It is a case of having to fight fire with fire: the worst pupils must be taught by the worst teachers...

Plot

Having beaten all the records with its humbling 12% success rate in the baccalauréat, the French national academic qualification, the Jules Ferry High School has earned the reputation of the worst high school in France. Now, to succeed where conventional methods and the best tutors have failed, there is one last chance to avoid closure of the institution: recruit the crème de la crème of the country's worst teachers to achieve a pass rate above 50% within one academic year. However, the stakes are high, and the future of the students is hanging by a thread. Will Jules Ferry's magnificent seven manage to save the day?
