IMAM is an adaptation of the script of the National Literary Abdullah Hussain. This film revolves around the struggle of an imam, Haji Mihad who wants to bring about reform in his village. The reforms he wants to bring are opposed by some Muslim parties.

Plot

It centers on a man who returns to his village after ten years away with radical ideas for reform, but the villagers are skeptical. He is ordained as an imam and clashes with the other local imam.
