Plot
Oscar Austiego is a 36 year old mentally challenged man who lives with his recluse father in their modest home. One day, armed with his trusty Polaroid camera, Oscar takes a trek to the park and happens upon a quirky, artistic 12 year old named Sophie. Like Oscar, Sophie is the frequent target of ridicule and condemnation. The two become fast friends (much to the chagrin of Sophie's parents) and find a common interest in art as well as reveling in each other's unique take on life. Over the next year, they forge a special bond that would become impervious to the disdain of the outside world. That is, until a bizarre twist of fate conspires to bring their new found utopia crashing down on them.
