Think Reality Television, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, blogs and more. Pop culture has become 'peep' culture, where we've traded privacy for notoriety and, in the process reinvented mass culture. Peep Me plunges the lonely and ornery pop culture writer Hal Niedzviecki into 'deep peep' in an effort to understand how human communication, friendship and social connection is changing in the post web 2.0 reality TV era. Peep Me: Pimping our lives in exchange for fame and friendship, one follower at a time.
