Henry can't control himself : he's got to cheat, con, plot. It's not his fault, it's his nature ! Underhand deals, compromise, lies, and betrayals are the daily lot of this guitarist for provincial village dances. And he has no qualms about anything : getting his depressed sister committed, ripping off his mother who's grief-stricken after the death of her companion, compromising himself with an extreme right-wing party.

Plot

Henry 's got two jobs: he owns a musical instruments store and plays in a rock band ;when one of the musicians of the group ,Maurice,dies in an accident ,his funeral is the least of his worries ;he knows that the late pal has a lot of valuable instruments ,notably a Les Paul bass ;it's not hard to buy these precious items from the alcoholic mom for a song .But Maurice's brother does not agree and he tells him so - Besides,Henry tries to get rid of his sane sister,by driving her crazy ,so as to institutionalize her.
