Plot
Old-fashioned Soon-yi marries into a family in the country without love but she tries her best to be a loyal housewife. But when her husband abandons her by enlisting into the Vietnam War, Soon-yi wants to show that she is capable of loving him by any means necessary. Going to Vietnam is no easy task for her as she does not possess a single talent and skill to call her own except for her beautiful voice. She ends up joining a band heading there and sings for the restless soldiers in hopes of meeting her husband while on tour.
