Dragon Rojo Jr., Mr. Profesional, ¡Sorpresa!, Rayo X and TseTse Fly are five friends who, with their fabulous wrestling skills, try to defend in the ring a village being attacked by a group of monstrous rudos (bad guy wrestlers) under the leadership of Rey Extremo. By the creators of ¡Mucha Lucha!

Plot

The people behind Mucha Lucha had to make a movie.Having seen the name "TV Azteca" related to this tittle I honestly expected the movie to suck big time. BUT it was not so bad. The music is really good and if they release it I plan on getting the soundtrack. They tried to pack a lot of the style and characters of the El Santo (and other luchadores) movies from the 60s and 70s and use the current state of Lucha libre in present time. But story and character development is not the strong suit of this movie. My 4 year old son was the reason we saw the movie in the opening weekend, and he liked it a lot. A week later he has forgotten a lot of the plot. If you have a young son who enjoys all the luchadores stuff I suggest you take him to see this movie, but be aware it's no masterpiece.
