College students Ravi and Sandhya are love birds. When Sandhya's mother and a village panchayat chief come to know of their affair, she puts spokes in their wheel, but the Ravi's father sends the pair to Chennai. Upon reaching Chennai, a corrupt police officer apprehends Ravi on a complaint that he had murdered his father when he put his foot down on their affair.

Plot

College classmates Ravi and Sandhya are in love with each other. But Sandhya's cruel stepmother wants to marry her off to her uncle, a rowdy and will go to any extent to stop them.
