Plot
In this documentary, Jeff Santo explores the life and career of his father, Chicago Cub great Ron Santo. At the time of his retirement in 1973, the senior Santo was the only MLB player with type 1 (juvenile) diabetes, and the film features aspects of this including his medical amputations. and many interviews, photos, video clips and stories. Contemporary interviewees include actors William Peterson, Bill Murray and Dennis Franz. Great documentary.
