Alibaba 40 dongalu (1970) is a Telugu film based on Ali Baba, starring N T Rama Rao and Jayalalitha. The film is a remake of 1956 Tamil film Alibabavum 40 Thirudargalum which inturn is based on Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.

Plot

Poor woodcutter Alibaba discovers the secret code of the cave of Abu Hussain, the leader of 40 dacoits. When Abu Hussain finds out that Alibaba knows their secret code, he decides to kill him.
