Plot
In his early twenties, Maruf, a mellow person, lives in a small village in southeastern Turkey where the traditions still have strong influence in the daily lives of the people. The biggest dream of Maruf is to marry to his girlfriend with whom they share a passionate love. Another woman that occupies Maruf's life is his mother who got crippled during his birth and needs Maruf's help to survive. Maruf's plans about the future take a sharp turn when his uncle dies unexpectedly. Now, Maruf has to face the choice between his love and tradition which asks him to marry his uncle's beautiful widow; and he has to find a way out.
