Plot
Using footage from filmmaker Maya Deren's avant-garde films of the 1940s, including the seminal _Meshes of the Afternoon (1942)_, _At Land (1943)_, and _Ritual in Transfigured Time (1948)_; archival audio interviews and observances from contemporaries such as Stan Brakhage, Amos Vogel, and Jonas Mekas, the documentary provides a glimpse into the mind and life of this groundbreaking and influential artist.
