Plot
After a sudden car malfunction, the affluent daughter of a ruthless industrialist, Xenia Koumarianou, and her rich fiancé get stranded in a humble working-class community of Greek refugees from Smyrna--the very same people her pitiless father expelled from the area to build his factory. However--against the backdrop of stubbornly unyielding social prejudice and profound mistrust--an unexpected but torrid love affair between Xenia and the proud construction worker, Andreas, will start to bloom, against all odds, and above all, reason. Now, once more, Andreas faces expulsion; not from a heartless enemy, but from those who used to love him. Are the star-crossed lovers meant to be together? Is there a future when you're naked in the street?
