A young woman asks from a ship magnate to help her immigrate to Australia but he falls in love with her.

Plot

Blessed, or cursed, with the gift of beauty, Mary, a bright, charming but impecunious orphaned woman, finds it impossible to keep a job for more than a few days. Disappointed with the ways of the world, and fed up with her lascivious employers' unwelcome romantic advances, Mary sets her mind on immigrating to far-off Australia, and with this in mind, she enlists the help of the handsome young shipowner, Tzortzis Vengelis. Before long, smitten by lively Mary's infectious charm, Tzortzis will fall head-over-heels in love with the beautiful stranger who took him by surprise in his office, doing everything in his power to be with her. However, will he let Mary, the love of his life, leave Greece?
