Plot

The film is a sequel to the TV-series of the same title and tells the further story of Anna, now on her way to become a professional ballerina. She becomes the student of a famous teacher at the national ballet theatre in Munich, and later is asked to come and dance in New York with yet another famous ballet master. However, she is prepared to move across the Atlantic only if her dancing partner David, on whom she has a big crush, can come with her. Her relationship with this new man in her life leaves her faithful friend Reiner, who loves her as much as ever, jealous. A tragic accident changes everything.
