During the Civil War, a Union officer tries to move a gold shipment out of Mexico despite the threat of raiders.

Plot

Civil War union soldiers purchase a shipment of gold from a Mexican banker. They need to get the gold to its destination. However along the way, a gang of crooks, the unethical banker & his gang, and Dynamite Jim all decide that they want to get their hands on the gold also.
