Joselito is a child whose mother left town when he was just a baby and whose father has died. He lives with his grandfather, the bellringer of the town, and his best friend is the sexton. He enjoys singing and has not lost hope of someday meeting her mother.

Plot

A woman approaches the village hermitage. She is the mother of Joselito, a boy whom he left in his father's arms when she left the place without saying anything. This woman tries by all means that her father receives her again, forgives her and allows her to rebuild her life with her son. Meanwhile the boy is with the sacristan, who promises him many goodies while he sings at baptisms, communions, weddings and everything that comes along.
