Two men (Victor McLaglen, George Macready) botch the kidnapping of a warden's daughter (Fay Spain), then plot to ransom Abraham Lincoln's corpse.

Plot

In 1876, Tom Muldoon (Victor McLaglen), a released convict, tries to arrange for the escape of a jailed counterfeiter, , who can provide $100,000 in payment when freed, plus the plates of almost perfect replicas. With the aid of a colleague, Jack Lingler (George McCready), they abduct the daughter (Fay Spain) of the federal prison warden (Nolan Leary). But the scheme goes awry. Then, they scheme to steal the body of President Abraham Lincoln from its tomb in Springfield, Illinois. But one of their associates, Herbert Evans (Gavin Muir), when drunk , lets skip information about their intentions and U.S. Secret Serice agents nab them in the act.
